Nothing really new. Other than my mom is finally home from the hospital. Last year she was in for what they called "cerebral vasculitis" swelling of the blood vessels to the brain. Long story short, her doctors at valley retrieved her records and came to the conlcusion that she never had it to begin with......why? becuase the idiots at UMC didn't even put that in her records, there was nothing in her records stating what she had. I came to the conclusion that doctors are like cars, they are all pieces of crap it is just which piece of crap you prefer more. Although I have to give it to them, they wree amazing, the nurses also. The best I have seen in a long time. She had a gynecologist all the way to a blood doctor and neurologist. They ran every test under the sun, and found white spots on her brain. Came to the conclusion that it could be MS which has always been a thought but not sure yet. They were throwing around the idea of a brain biopsy, but then decided against it. my mom was all for it if it was going to get rid of her massive migraines that throw her into panic attacks. the one neurologist thinks he can get her to where she is only on blood pressure, blood thinners, and one other pill and that would be it, wouldn't that be amazing?
Anyway, she's home, she's safe, and she's away from the ovrepaid quacks that we trust our lives with that we call doctors. i guess the doctors say that when you get home from the hospital you can get depressed, lets pray that won't happen..........
