A lovely lovely weekend, complete with a new son...

Oh my weekend was just fabulous if anyone was wondering. I slept until noon on saturday with a headache, the only downfall. Then did 5 loads of laundry, cleaned the kitchen and hung out with the dogs. Later I got my second wind and trimmed the trees in the front yard, then almost broke the clippers so I thought that was a good time to stop trimming. Josh came home and we were on our way to a show at the palms that he won tickets to on the radio, we got there a few minutes before the show was to start and there was NO PARKING WHATSOEVER! we drove around the whole palms area, every single parking lot, up, down and around and ended up not going to the show. good thing we didn't pay for the tickets. We decided to go buy a blender and some pina colada mix and sat at home, watched scrubs and drank pina coladas with the dogs, theirs were virgin of course.

THEN TO THE BEST PART! sunday my mom and I went to the eye doctor and got that done and over with, after that we went and picked up my lovely honey bunny, and went to the animal shelter and looked at tons of dogs. We narrowed down the selection to just a few, then to two. We played with one, and were kind of leary of the part pit bull that she was. She was very playful and attacked me quite a few times, then when another dog walked by we didn't like how she tried to bite him, so we decided to look at another one named buddy. The second he was out of the kennel, he was in love with Josh and talking to him like there was no tomorrow. Josh took him for a walk around the shelter and let him do his thing. My mom and I were sitting on a bench and he came flying up trying to climb in my lap, he put his front legs on my lap and was struggling to put his back legs on my lap, so we had to pick him up by the butt, after that he was perfectly happy sitting in my lap like a poodle. After that I was in love. So we adopted him, this morning he is getting his manhood taken away, and Josh will pick him up on his way home. We went and bought him some toys and new bowls and a collar and a leash that match. Cammouflage of course. We decided to rename him since he didn't respond to "buddy." His new name is "HARLEY" I think it suits him well.
I guess I should mention what kind of dog he is, he is a lab and chow mix. Looks like a lab with really red hair, a total goofball with black spotty tongue and all. you will get to meet him soon! I will take pictures when I get home. He will have his ever so fashionable cone on so he doesnt bother his incision where his man hood was taken away. IM SO EXCITED to have another son!!
