Hospital+Lacie=4 prescriptions

last night after work I couldn't take the pressure or pain in my ears anymore so I went to quik care on my way home from work. When I got there I heard someone saying that it was a 2hour wait. JOY. I kept telling myself that if they did not call me to the desk to do my copay by 7 that I was going to leave. I got there at 5:45. Darn, they called me up there to do my vitals at 6 and I was in the room waiting for the dr. by 7. Then again the dr. didn't come into the room until 7:30 and then Didn't get my prescriptions until 8...almost. I got bored laying on the table waiting for him so I started taking pictures of myself. Exciting I know.

Once he came in he started looking in my ears, i thought it was just an ear infection, but then he looked up my nose, and listened to me breath. THEN the weird thing, he started tapping me on the cheekbones under my eyes, holy crap that hurt! he asked if it was tender and I said yes of course! He then proceeded to tell me that I don't have an ear infection, i have SINUSITIS. Basically my sinuses are extremely enflamed, and then he decided to tell me that I have an upper respiratory infection......yeah. After he left to write the list of drugs, the girl came back and told me one of the drugs he put me on was a steroid. Steroid? why that? dont they make you swell up like a balloon and retain water? does it look like I need to retain any water? Have you seen my butt? I have plenty or retained water thank you! Other than that, he put me on an antibiotic, a pain killer, a decongestant and the steroid. Fun huh? So now I sit here at work feeling like my head is in the clouds. Im sure this day will be quite interesting.
