Josh and I are going home on wednsday to south dakota. Things aren't looking good with my dad, im not eating or sleeping and now my mom is also in the hospital, though not nearly as bad as my dad. Im not sure how much more I can handle, all I can do is cry and lay on the couch. Although I have my spirits up when I am hanging out with my mom at the hospital. I don't know how peopple can be so strong in such a crisis. It is time for me to put my problems behind me, forgive and forget, and pray, or as i say it, "talk to someone upstairs", and do it alot. How do people go through hard times and seem so ok? I saw someone today driving next to me that looked like my dad and almost burst into tears. Multiple times. Every time I talk to my brother or cousin and they give me an update I seem to take it well..until im by myself then all hell breaks loose. Im so angry, so exhausted and so confused. Why does someone have to have such a dangerous job to make a decent living for his family? and why do they work on christmas eve? If they hadn't worked on christmas eve thiswouldn't have happened. I had so much anger inside me that I thought I wouldn't be in this state if something happened, but it seems the exact opposite, you don't know how much love you have for a person until something drastic happens, which is not the way is should be. So we will be flying to 30 degree weather and snow on wednesday. Go to http://www.gillettenewsrecord.com/ to read the article on my dad. The title is "driver hurt in coal mine accident" dated december 28th.
Please just pray, pray hard and do lots of it, we need all we can get.

Lace, I feel really bad about your dad. I hope that everything goes ok when you go out there. It will be good for you to go. Sometimes we don't understand why things happen like they do but there is a reason for it all...as crazy as that may sound. Hang in there, try to be happy and keep your chin up.

Lace,

I hope you know that I will be praying for you and hoping that all will be well. Put it in Heavenly Fathers hands...that is all you can do. And grieving is ok. Do it. It may seem like that is all you do but it will help you to be ok and understand that things happen for a reason and if it is the Lord's will your Dad will be alright. Love ya tons girl, good luck!
