cupcake

Thumbs up guys!

The day is slowly aproaching that I will be 6 months pregnant....6 months! It feels like I had just found out I had a miracle on the way. We have been going to the perinatologist since I was 4 months to keep an eye on her due to my blood thinners I am on, so far the doc says she is a healthy little chunk, with a sassy attitude. At the last appointment she hid her face and gave us an awesome thumbs up, as if it were right on cue. I have been busy making headbands with flowers and corkers, I finally found something I can actually sit and do, that is a miracle in itself being as I have no patience whatsoever. We have all the furniture and gear we need for little miss Shelbie, now we just need her bedding so i can start decorating her room. I still find myself going in there every night to turn on the mobile and hear the music that soon will put her to sleep. On many days i will find myself in her room taking everything in, looking at all the sweet clothes that we have acquired, her beautiful crib, and just enjoying the fact that she will be here in three months and we won't have to give her back to anyone....Do they send them home with an owners manual? I couldn't be happier to be a mom to such an already beautiful little cupcake. I still feel great, with the constant naggin sciatic nerve that makes me waddle around everywhere, but other than that everything is great. Im beginning to see how beautiful the battle wounds known as stretch marks are. I thought I was going to get away with them, but lo and behold they have made their appearance on my thighs....go figure, as long as these new found friends stay away from my belly im a happy camper.
Here is my lovely mator modeling the headbands I made:
Im finding the corkers are just adorable, and so easy to make.
