The past few months have been a stressful blur but it is soon coming to an end. At my seven month appointment last month with the specialist they informed me that they were apalled at how big Shelbie had gotten in just one month. She weighed 4 pounds 7 ounces, and my fluid level was extremely high and kept rising. Off I went to get tested for gestational diabetes, that came back fine. So now we are wondering how we have such a big baby and extra fluid. No wonder i was having contractions at 7 months along. A few days later i was driving to work and started to black out at a stop light while talking to one of the girls at work. I hung up called josh and could only tell him the number of the building I was parked infront of, I was hardly able to talk, breathe, and had no clue where I was! Josh came flying around the corner and off we went to labor and delivery. Come to find out im the opposite of diabetic, hypoglycemic, my sugar drops at any given time so I have to eat throughout the day regardless if im hungry or not. That is pretty dang hard! I haven't had much of an appetite lately, im very large and in charge, uncomfortable and have a left hip that hurts so bad im actually a little nervous, I can't have my pants brush up against it, or even touch it before I get tears in my eyes. Im sure it's from my rather large daughter, but this much pain!?
I have monitoring 2 times a week at the specialist, and see my obgyn once a week now. It's getting down to the wire, but seems like it is taking forever. Im not due until January 20th but everyone is seeing a december baby, doctors included. As long as she is ok to come early im happy with a december baby, I can't wait until I can walk up the stairs and not feel like i ran a marathon, or even get out of the car or bed without having to hold onto josh or the dog for help!
Little missys room is almost done, we decided on a cupcake theme. For some reason before i found out she was a girl i was calling her cupcake, and of course found the bedding online, and had to have it. It's turning out so cute. She now has 3 closets full of clothes, one of them being her fathers, he cracks up the more room he loses to her.
I can't get over how generous everyone was at the baby shower. We won't have to buy diapers or whipes for quite some time, or clothes and blankets, this baby is very well loved!
I now have a foot in the ribs so i think that's my cue.

LOVE the bedding! I can't wait until she is here and you can have some relief. Believe me I know all about the pains of pregnancy. It is hard sometimes. But TOTALLY worth it! Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy!
