down the toilet with god knows what....

Is where our hopes went last night. I talked to my cousin and she said my dad wasn't flying to Denver today. WHY? you ask.....Because something can't go off without a hitch of course. There always has to be a problem when you get a string of good things.
His shunt isn't draining properly.....of course, go figure. So he doesn't get to go today...of course, go figure. He won't get to go until he is stable enough to fly is what the doctors said. Is that what they spent tons of money in school for? to tell us THE OBVIOUS fact that he can't fly until he is stable? well duh doctor, we are complete idiots, so can you talk to us like the idiots we are and give us info that a 4 year old could figure out please? thanks that would be lovely.
So of course our family is upset that there is yet another setback after good news lifted us up, but all will be well sooner or later, I would like sooner rather than later of course. My stepmom of course is upset, because she wants something new to evolve rather than hearing the same ol' stuff. We all want him to wake up of course, but we also want some new treatment to be tried. SO......::sigh:: we will be keeping our fingers and toes crossed that the surgery goes well this morning and that nothing serious is wrong with his shunt, hopefully it is just blocked and it is easily fixed. I really want him to go to denver and wake up out of this long nap that he has been having, so I can see those beautiful blue-grey eyes that all 4 of us kids inherited.
