...Is where people come from when there is a tragedy in your family and you're from a small town. I was telling my step mom that if we didn't know everyone in our town, and they didn't know us, then we do and they do now. My dad is at Rapid City Regional Hospital and you can send patients emails there. When I was in his room one day, I was reading some emails, I did not kow one person. People that don't know my family are taking food to my aunt and uncles house because they know they are related and they know that my little brother and sister are living there for now. My town has about 5,000 people in it, so everyone is really friendly. It just amazes me how much people care about you and your family. The coal mine he works for got a phone call one day, a lady had heard about the accident and wanted to talk to my stepmom personally, and let her know that she is thinking of her, my dad and our family. When you read the Belle Fourche news paper, and others in south dakota and some in wyoming, you can leave comments, again, people we don't know are leaving comments, sending their thoughts and letting us know they are praying for us.
I got on here to see is there were any comments one day, and out of the blue there was a comment from a girl I was friends with from toddler until I left belle fourche when I was 13. She lives in rapid city and wanted me to know she was thinking of us. I was so excited I had to send her a whole long email. I just love when someone shows up out of nowhere. Thanks Steph! I was so darn excited to hear from you, I miss you lots! When I go back to Rapid City we will definitley have to meet up. Anywho, We definitley appreciate all the thoughtful outpour of prayers and good wishes our way, they are helping that's for sure!
