On Tuesday it will be a special day. Dad will be flying to denver to go to SELECT at PORTER they specialize in head injuries and bringing people out of their comas, they are very excited to have dad come and think that they will benefit him. I think they are a blessing in disguise and hope that they can work the miracle that we have been hoping for since 7:40 pm Christmas eve. It is estimated that he will be there for 4-6 weeks and then will go to CRAIG, another reahbilitation place to get him up and moving once he is out of his coma, which I KNOW he will be. My family and I are considering him stable, he is breathing on his own, his lungs and heart are strong, so why couldn't he be considered stable? The doctors don't really say much, so we are telling ourselves that he is stable. Positivity right? The mine will be paying for my little brother and sister to fly out two times a month, and my stepmom will be staying near the hospital to be close to dad, thank the lord for the coal mine paying for everything, they are saints. Im hoping to be able to go out there on one of the long weekends from work before we go on our cruise. Hopefully by the time we get there he will be awake.
It also sounds like my brother will be coming home from baghdad early, thank the lord, his troop had to move into a worse place. When he was home 3 of his guys got hurt, one got sent home and the others are in the hospital.
as usual keep our family in your prayers and on your prayer lists.
